Not-so-serious Things

Welcome, web surfer, to my little corner of the interwebs.

Perhaps you arrived here with curiosity about my professional life?

• I'm doing a PhD at the Gatsby Unit, in London. I work with Tim Behrens on biological structure and representation learning, and Peter Latham on understanding neural networks.
• I interned in Prof. Chelsea Finn's lab in Stanford, working on structured model-based RL.
• I previously interned at OIST in Prof. Erik de Schutter's group. I worked on biologically-plausible hierarchical reinforcement learning.
• I attended the 2020 Imbizo computational neuroscience summer school, one of the best months of my life!
• I first met theoretical neuroscience working for Prof. Cengiz Pehlevan at Harvard. I worked on theoretical olfaction.
• I used to do condensed matter physics. I worked on acoustic metamaterial mimics of condensed matter systems in Prof. Jenny Hoffman's lab.
• I did my undergrad in physics at Cambridge.
